Where All Things Arise-Honoring the Sacred Feminine

There is a wisdom older than nations, older than language, older than memory itself. It lives beneath our feet, within our breath, and inside the silent spaces between our thoughts.

Across cultures and traditions, humanity has always returned to one truth:

Everything emerges from a womb.

Not only the womb of woman, though this is sacred beyond measure, but the womb of Earth, consciousness, and creation itself.
The ancients called parts of Africa the cradle of civilization because humanity itself emerged from her soil, yet the deeper teaching is universal: life is born through relationship, nourishment, patience, and emergence.

A seed disappears before it becomes a tree.
A child grows unseen before taking first breath.
A vision rests in silence before becoming reality.

Within the Three Mountains Way, we honor “Mother” not simply as a person, but as a living principle woven through existence.

Mother is the Earth that feeds us without asking for applause.
Mother is the body healing while we sleep.
Mother is intuition whispering beneath noise.
Mother is compassion softening what force cannot heal.
Mother is the stillness from which wise action emerges.

And yes—Mother is also the women who carried us, raised us, protected us, sacrificed for us, and loved us even when exhausted.

Some gave birth through the body. Others gave birth through teaching, mentoring, creating, healing, protecting, and loving others into becoming themselves.

To mother is to help life emerge.

This is why motherhood belongs not only to biology, but also to spirit.

Every moment we are participating in creation.

Every thought plants a seed.
Every word waters something.
Every action nourishes or diminishes a future reality.

We are constantly giving birth:
to habits,
to relationships,
to communities,
to suffering or healing,
to fear or courage,
to the worlds future generations will inherit.

The Three Mountains remind us that nothing stands alone:
mountain to river,
river to ocean,
ancestor to descendant,
self to community,
humanity to Earth.

We arise together.

The breath we take was made possible by forests and oceans. The wisdom we carry was shaped by ancestors we may never know by name. The opportunities before us were carried here through generations of endurance, sacrifice, and hope.

Perhaps the greatest forgetting of modern life is the belief that we are separate from creation, when in truth we are participants within it.

At every moment, we stand at the edge of birth:
a new response,
a new choice,
a new direction,
a new possibility waiting to emerge through us.

Today we offer gratitude:
to our mothers,
to Mother Earth,
to the ancestors who endured,
to the feminine wisdom within all beings,
and to the sacred opportunity we each have to shape reality through presence, intention, and action.

The womb of creation is not somewhere far away.

It is here.
Within this breath.
Within this moment.
Within you.

May we create with reverence.
May we walk gently.
May we honor the Mother in ALL things.

Happy Mother’s Day!
